What is Insights Discovery?
The Insights Discovery model is based on the work of Carl Gustav Jung. This Swiss psychologist and psychiatrist introduced the concept of psychological preferences: every person has a preferred way of interacting with the world and the people around them. These preferences are reflected in communication, collaboration and the way in which decisions are made. The color language of Insights Discovery is easy to understand and easy to remember. My experience is that people continue to use the language long after attending a training. Info: De psychologische typen van Jung | Insights Benelux

Personal effectiveness
Gain insight and understanding in your own and others behaviours.
Personal effectiveness starts with self-awareness. With knowing where you are now and knowing what you need to do to get the best out of yourself. In this training, employees learn how to recognize their own and others preferences, and how to adapt their behaviour to interact more effectively with others.
Expected outcomes?
- Self awareness: gain insight into your preferences and how they affect your personal effectiveness
- Understanding others: learn to recognize preferences in others
- Connecting: When you recognize the difference in preferences, you can take this into account in your behavior and communication style. The better you do that, the greater the chance of connection and effective interactions.
- Action: If you know what your qualities and pitfalls are, you can focus on your personal growth
Team effectiveness
Insights Team Effectiveness provides tools that enable teams to identify and analyze their most relevant and urgent challenges. This training helps teams to visualize and tackle problems, improve mutual relationships and inspires success. All this together results in higher team productivity.
Expected outcomes?
- Awareness of the strengths and pitfalls of the team
- Improved team dynamics
- Improved communication
- Better understanding of each other
Giving and receiving insightful feedback
It’s sad but true; most feedback is ignored – the message just isn’t getting through. In this training, employees learn how to optimize the chance that feedback will actually land with the other person and creates an opportunity for self-reflection and behavioral change. It also looks at how feedback can be received more effectively and the beneficial effect this can have on personal development and performance.
Expected outcomes?
- the ability to give and receive feedback
- ensure that given feedback actually lands with the other person
- reflect on what they can learn about themselves from feedback they give others
